About Our Staff
Christi Eaton and Kim Maples are the owners and Executive Directors of Little Learners.  Christi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree with a Reading Specialist Certification.  Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree with a Reading Specialist Certification.  Together Christi and Kim have 30 years of teaching experience in preschool-5th grade.  Our classroom teachers are also highly qualified through education and experience.  We enjoy teaching children and can't wait to meet your Little Learner!

Little Learners is committed to providing a stable and highly qualified staff to care for your child.  We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and provide a daily preschool structure.  Thank you for trusting us with the care and education of your little learner.

Ms. Katharine is the Lead Learning Extensions Teacher in Green Squares (LL—W) with our preschool children. Katharine has a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Behavioral Science with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education and Intervention from the University of Kansas and has been teaching for three years. She is looking forward to working with the preschool children from Squares in the mornings and Circles in the afternoons as they engage in fun arts and crafts, music and movement activities as well as music and art appreciation.

Ms. Mesha is the Lead Teacher in Blue Trapezoids (LL-E) with our pre-K children in the mornings and will teach our preschool children in the afternoons. Mesha is a K-State graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, which she completed in 2008. She has been with Little Learners for four years and is an experienced preschool and toddler teacher. She is excited to work with both the pre-K and preschool children as they focus on early literacy, math, and handwriting skills. Ms. Mesha is also our Closing Assistant at West and is available to help parents as needed at the end of the day.  
Ms. Karen is the Lead Extensions Teacher in Blue Triangles (LL—W) with our pre-K children. She has an Associate’s Degree and 28 years of experience teaching preschool. She has been with Little Learners for three years. Ms. Karen is excited to use this experience to develop exciting lessons focused on arts and crafts, science, social studies, music, and movement as well as art and music appreciation that all the children in Blue Triangles and Blue Rectangles are sure to enjoy.  
Ms. Nancy is the Lead Teacher in Purple Diamonds (LL-E) with our youngest toddlers. Nancy has been with Little Learners for 7years. She has an Associate’s Degree in Child Development and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services in Education. She has been working with children for twenty years. Ms. Nancy is very excited about helping our toddlers develop their language and social skills through nursery rhymes and play-based learning. Nancy is also our Opening Assistant at East and is available to help parents as needed in the mornings.  
Ms. Bianca is the Assistant Teacher in Orange Ovals (LL-W) on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will also attend college classes. Ms. Bianca is from Germany and speaks fluent German and English. She was an Au Pair for two years before joining our staff.   She is in her third year at Little Learners.  

Ms. Kelly is the Lead Teacher in Blue Rectangles (LL--W) with our pre-K children. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Simpson College in Iowa and has taught preschool, Kindergarten, 7th Grade, and has been a Director. She has over 12 years of teaching experience. Ms. Kelly will be focusing on early literacy and math skills as well as handwriting while using fun and engaging themes. She will teach the children from Blue Rectangles in the mornings and Blue Triangles in the afternoons.  


Ms. Heidi is the Academic Co-Lead in Yellow Crescents (LL-W) teaching transitional preschool. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has ten years of experience in child care and has been an Assistant Director. She is excited to implement our curriculum to help children develop their vocabulary and social skills while exploring and discovering through play, songs, and stories.  Ms. Heidi is our Closing Assistant at East and is available to assist families as need at the end of the day.  
Ms. Stacy is our Lead Teacher in the Rainbow Room where she engages the children in creative and "messy" projects as well as fun large-motor activities.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Avila University.  She has over 22 years of teaching experience and started working for Little Learners in 2008.  When not leading activities in the Rainbow Room, she also substitutes and teachers small groups.  
Ms. Stacy is the Lead Teacher in Red Hearts (LL-W) our 2 ½-3 year old transitional preschool classroom. Ms. Stacy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Human Relations from Ottawa University. She has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is looking forward to creating a fun and structured learning environment for our youngest preschoolers to develop social skills, early literacy skills, and early math skills through hands-on activities.  
Ms. Molly is our Program Director. She holds a degree in Sociology from Washburn University and has spent over thirteen years working with children in early childhood. Ms. Molly began her career with Little Learners in 2009 as a Lead Preschool Teacher. She has since been a Pre-K Teacher, Closing Assistant, Director’s Assistant, and now Director. She is committed to helping our families feel welcome and comfortable at Little Learners. Ms. Molly is dedicated to supporting the teachers to ensure the programs at Little Learners are engaging and all of our children are successful. Ms. Molly’s office is at Little Learners—West. Please feel free to visit with Molly at any time with comments, questions, or concerns.

Ms. Teresa is the Teacher’s Assistant in Orange Ovals (LL-E) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. She attended Briar Cliff and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Wichita State University. She was a volunteer for eight years at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center Infant Development Center.  She is in her fourth year at Little Learners. 
Our Teacher’s Aides are part time and assist in the classrooms and help at the end of the day.  
They help clean the building so that it will be ready for our little learners the next day.   
Miss Belle
is a Senior

Ms. Kathryn is the Lead Teacher in Orange Ovals (LL-E). She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Pitt State. She is looking forward to providing a nurturing and loving environment for our “littlest learners” while helping them explore the world through music, nursery rhymes, stories, and exploration as they develop their language and social skills through play-based learning.  
Ms. Katlin is our Lead Teacher for Super Kindergarten in the summer and is a Lead Substitute Teacher in the fall.  She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from UMKC and has been with Little Learners for four years.  She always enjoys leading our Super Kindergarteners in fun activities to help them maintain the reading and math skills they gained in Kindergarten.  
Ms. Joanne is a Teacher’s Assistant and has been with Little Learners for three years.  She will attend Washburn University in the fall to pursue a degree in Social Work.  She will be assisting in all of the classrooms by giving the teachers breaks and helping with activities, lunch, and rest time.
Ms. Theresa is our Events and Compliance Director. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University. She also has her teaching license from the state of Kansas. She has over three years of experience working with toddlers. Ms. Theresa was a Lead Toddler Teacher and Closing Assistant prior to becoming the Events and Compliance Director. She will help plan our fun, monthly activities and special events. Ms. Theresa is excited to support our program by helping all of our children and their families create wonderful memories at Little Learners. Ms. Theresa’s office is at Little Learners—East and she is available to assist teachers as well as parents as needed.

Ms. Allie is the Lead Teacher in Green Clovers (LL—E) with our preschool children in the mornings and our pre-K children in the afternoons. Allie has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education  from Kansas City Kansas Community College and has been working with children for six years. She will be teaching Learning Extensions and engaging the children in fun activities focused on science and social studies, arts and crafts, and music and movement. 

Ms. Ronda is the Lead Teacher in Green Circles (LL—W) with our preschool children. Ms. Ronda has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kansas City Kansas Community College.  She was a Head Start Preschool Teacher for 10 years.  As our Academic Preschool Teacher, her engaging lessons will focus on early reading and math skills as well as handwriting.  Ms. Ronda is excited to work with the children from Green Circles in the mornings and Green Squares in the afternoons.
 
Ms. Allison is the Lead Teacher in Yellow Stars (LL-W), which is a 2 year old toddler classroom.  Ms. Allison is working on her Bachelor's Degree in Education.  She started working for Little Learners in 2011.  She is excited to work with our two year olds to develop their vocabulary and social skills while exploring and discovering through play, songs, stories, hands-on activities and theme-based learning.  

Ms. Amber is the Learning Extensions Co-Lead Teacher in Yellow Crescents (LL-E) teaching transitional preschool. She has seven years of experience working with infants and toddlers and is in her third year at Little Learners. She is excited to work with our transitional preschoolers to guide their learning through arts, crafts, music, and movement activities. ​

Ms. Shay is a Teacher’s Assistant. She is currently working towards a degree in Early Childhood.  She has over 4 years of experience working in child care.  She will be assisting by giving the teachers breaks and helping with activities, lunch, and rest time. 


Ms. Vicki is Teacher’s Assistant and will provide additional support in our Toddler classrooms. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Faith Baptist Bible College. She has fifteen years of Early Childhood Experience and has been with Little Learners for four years. She is looking forward to supporting a nurturing and loving environment for our “littlest learners”.

Ms. Lauren is a Teacher’s Assistant and has recently completed her Bachelor’s in Education is a Licensed Teacher. She will be assisting in all of the classrooms by giving the teachers breaks and helping with activities, lunch, and rest time.
